Ever the quiet one growing up, Nicole Dennis often slid away from reality and curled up with a book to slip into the worlds of her favorite authors. Over the years, she’s created a personal library full of novels filled with dragons, fairies, vampires, shapeshifters of all kinds and romance. Always she returned to romance. Still, there were these characters in her head, worlds wanting to be built on paper, and stories wanting to be told and she began writing them down whether during or after class. She continues to this day. Only recently has it begun to become fruitful, spreading out to let others read and enter her worlds, meet her characters, and see what she sees. No matter what she writes, her stories of romance with their twists of paranormal, fantasy and erotica will always have their Happily Ever Afters.
She currently works in a quiet office in Central Florida, where she also makes her home, and enjoys the down time to slip into her characters and worlds to escape reality from time to time. At home, she becomes human slave to a semi-demonic tortie calico.

This is the Third installment in the Southern Charm Series. The relationship between Reece and Malcolm. I thought this would be a terrific story about two exceptional men, but I feel the story fell short. In the previous books Mal seems fun, sexy, experimental. In the previous stories, Reece seemed sexy, cool, very interesting. In this story they were both one dimensional with hardly no personality at all. I just don't understand what happened. I thought this would be a great story. I hope that the next book is better than this one, if there is a next book.Product details

Mal is a wonderful character. I have seen him throughout the stories and absolutely love his personality and spirit. I also really love how he views his job – his place within the family. While I don’t know a ton about his story, what little snippet we do see is tragic and heartbreaking. Despite those facts, Mal’s never ending hair color, bubbly personality and sass leave me wanting to know more about him. What makes him tick?
Reese is a character I wanted to bop over the head! Such a clueless man… Despite his cluelessness, I did come to like him too. However, I was mad at him for most of the book.
My heart broke for both of these characters in their struggles. I wanted to hug them, tell them it was going to be OK.
Dorian is another loveable character in this story. We see a lot more of him and I really, really hope he gets his own book.
There are still unanswered questions in this story too. I hope the author starts to plug the holes they’ve written.

I have enjoyed this series so much. 4.5 stars for this one.
Nicole Dennis continues to demonstrate her skills at character development and plotting a series that takes a number of paths along the way. Through the three books so far she has resolved some partnerships with HEAs or strong HFNs and has left breadcrumbs for some plots that are not yet resolved and lend an air of mystery to all of the stories. The reader picks up a few clues with each book, and that makes it so much fun to read the series.
In On the Green we get to know the twinkish sous chef Mal better and meet the landscape architect Reece as he decends into the hell of his own company being mismanaged. Their relationship has been on simmer for years, almost unrecognized by Reece but longed for by Mal, and events turn it to the boiling point in On the Green. I loved seeing characters we met in previous books come back to life so we know how they are getting along now, even though not a lot of time has passed. The B&B is coming back to life and that's good to see.
A great series, full of Southern charm and lovely characters. I've now read them all, including #4, since I read it out of order and it compelled me to go back to read the others. I'm looking forward to #5, which the author assures me is in the works. Color me happy with that news.

Great Series. All the books are really good
What a weird ending -as though the author was called away on an emergency and forgot to finish the book? Thought just one more page with promise or something(!) would've felt like an ending-
I am surprised by the lack of readers complimenting the author on this series i love the inn and the folks that want to keep her beautiful and successful the characters each brings their own talent to the mix. I hope there is more to come the computer expert plus the mishandling of funds are in the backof my mind i want to know what happens next
Not Bad, Damning with faint praise. This is an ok read... if uninspired. I continue to be frustrated that despite a couple of murder attempts very little attention is directed here. This book gave it less than a paragraph... maybe a sentence... when the sheriff is asked about it.. he responds he has a few leads... that's it. This book does address both the personal and business lives of the characters and does an ok job of it... but again, I don't see that the author gave the same life and energy to #3 as books 1 & 2.
